- A high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
For most people, coronavirus will be a mild illness.
What should I do if I have coronavirus symptoms?
- If you start experiencing any of the symptoms: stay at home and do not leave your house for seven days.
- If you live with someone who has symptoms: stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person in the home started having symptoms.
